Awakening the Complacent Heart

The Lord warns that He will search Jerusalem with candles, exposing those settled in spiritual indifference. They believed God would do neither good nor evil, living as if He were absent. This verse calls us away from dull unbelief and comfortable apathy. God is near, active, and holy. Let us invite His searching light, confess our complacency, and renew our reverent trust in Him.
