Holiness Is Not Contagious

Haggai asks whether holy meat can make other food holy by mere contact, and the priests answer, No. The lesson is searching: holiness is not transferred casually or outwardly. Being near sacred things does not replace a clean heart and obedient life. God desires more than religious association. Come to Him sincerely, asking Him to purify your motives, worship, and daily conduct from within.
