Faith Refuses False Identity

Moses came of age and made a costly choice: he refused the identity and privilege of Pharaoh’s household. Faith helped him see beyond comfort, status, and temporary reward. This verse teaches that maturity often brings a holy refusal. We must decide who we are before God, even when another identity promises ease. True faith chooses belonging with God over every title the world can offer.
